Data Scientist Opportunity in AI Safety Protection at Google

About Your Role

As a crucial member of our AI Safety Protection team, you will develop scalable safety solutions using advanced machine learning and AI techniques. You will handle data analysis, craft data pipelines, and work on safety classifiers that operate both server-side and on-device to maintain the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in data science or data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Julia, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fraud, abuse, or web security disciplines, particularly in harmful content moderation and threat analysis.
• Knowledge in applying machine learning techniques to large datasets.
