Role Overview
As an AI Prompt & Language Specialist, your primary tasks will involve testing, training AI, and building linguistic content. You will play a critical role in ensuring our client’s content moderation solutions accurately detect and classify a wide variety of online harms within a cultural context.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Future Development
- Build and maintain language tools, ensuring classifications are accurate and context-based.
- Classify words/phrases based on a defined taxonomy of online harms.
- Review chat data to ensure accurate classification and address any misclassifications.
- Analyze data for trends and create classification improvement plans.
- Identify and add vocabulary based on client requests, global issues, current events, and other trends.
- Collaborate with the Client Success team to address client questions and issues.
- Participate in developing new methods to detect content intended to bypass content moderation.
- Support product testing and report any outages.
AI Data Generation
- Curate and build datasets to evaluate and test models or prompt effectiveness.
- Label or analyze data to assist data scientists in AI training.
- Conduct red-teaming to test for potential harms in new AI features, evaluate responses, and report results.
- Contribute native language prompts to the red-teaming library for future use.
- Refine policy input for AI with internal teams.
Quality Audits
- Audit labeled data, report results, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Native-level fluency in Indonesian.
- Deep understanding of cultural specificities related to the language.
- Capability to follow and execute tasks autonomously and within constrained timelines.
- Ability to document cultural information into a knowledge repository and perform research tasks.
- Presentation skills to deliver observations in reports, presentations, or documents.
Technical Skills
- Native speaker of Indonesian.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite.
Behavioral Skills
- Communicative and outgoing; enjoy sharing ideas with others.
- Team-oriented but also capable of driving your own work.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to handle potentially unpleasant content as required.
Bonus Experience
- Professional or hobby experience in moderation.
- Experienced gamer.
- Studies in cultural fields such as sociology, ethics, education, anthropology, etc.
- Experience related to inclusivity, child protection, or legal protection.
