About the AI Resident Program

The AI Resident Program offers a 6-month remote internship, giving final-year college students an immersive experience in machine learning and Generative AI. This internship is designed to help you understand the operations of fast-growing startups, acquire practical skills, and gain real-world experience, while building a network in the GenAI industry.

Location: Remote, with opportunities to meet the team in Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria

We invite final-year undergraduate students graduating by June 2025 to apply. This flexible, remote opportunity allows you to work from your campus or home, requiring full-time commitment during the summer and 20-30 hours per week during the semester.

Responsibilities of an AI Resident

• Research, design, implement, optimize, and deploy deep learning models.
• Read and implement deep learning papers, adapting models to Ema's requirements.
• Develop enterprise-level software applications focused on back-end systems, API development, and integrating NLP technologies.
• Train machine learning models and develop cutting-edge algorithms in areas like prompt engineering for LLM models, fine-tuning models, and large-scale distributed training.
• Optimize deep neural networks for efficient operation on embedded devices.

Ideal Candidate - Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program, graduating by June 2025.
• Expertise in Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing (NLP), with a strong interest in Generative AI, NLU, NLG, Structured Prediction, Unsupervised Learning, or Representation Learning.
• Proficient coding skills and readiness to tackle any task.
• Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or R.
• Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
