  • 3 years in client-side web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP, combined with technical troubleshooting skills and experience managing partnerships.
  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Our ideal candidate would also have:

  • Experience optimizing Large Language Models (LLMs) using RAG/retrieval augmented generation architectures and fine-tuning methods.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
  • Proven ability to lead AI-based solution designs, web services, and debugging tools implementation.
  • Experience working with recommendation engines, data pipelines, or distributed machine learning, alongside proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Understanding of web standards like REST APIs and web security mechanisms.

About the Role

As an AI/ML Engineer at Google, you will:

  • Guide and support public sector customers through the configuration and deployment of virtual agents and ML solutions.
  • Travel up to 30% to customer sites for solution deployment and deliver educational workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to enhance Google Cloud products.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $118,000 to $174,000, based on qualifications and experience, plus bonuses, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Salary specifics will vary based on location and prevailing market conditions.
