Role Summary

At SAP, we blend AI technology with industry-specific data and deep process knowledge to innovate AI capabilities across all SAP applications. Leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), we are transforming Machine Learning domains. SAP aims to tackle the challenge of tabular data integration in Business AI, adapting Foundation Models to enhance client business processes effectively.

Position: AI/ML Scientist - Generative AI and Knowledge Graph

Location: Seattle OR Palo Alto

Your Role

• Collaborate with senior AI scientists to research and develop innovative approaches for Foundation Models tailored to structured data.
• Design scalable algorithms and architectures for efficiently processing large-scale structured datasets.
• Conduct performance evaluations and optimize models to enhance accuracy, scalability, and interpretability.
• Stay updated on advancements in Deep Learning, Foundational Models, and Generative AI.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines; PhD is a plus.
• Experience with Foundation Models and LLMs in a business context.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow.
• Professional experience with Machine Learning on structured data, particularly in ERP or CRM domains.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-cultural team work.

Compensation Range Transparency

SAP is committed to pay equity and transparency. The compensation range for this position is $101,300 - $210,000 USD, inclusive of base salary and variable incentives.
