Job Summary

At SAP, we combine AI technology with extensive industry-specific data and processes to develop innovative capabilities across all SAP applications. Large Language Models (LLMs) have the potential to revolutionize the way we work and create products, reshaping the Machine Learning landscape across diverse domains. However, their limited ability to leverage tabular data leaves significant enterprise data untapped. SAP is committed to overcoming this challenge within Business AI by adapting Foundation Models to SAP data, empowering our clients to optimize their business processes.

Your Role

• Collaborate with senior AI scientists to research and develop novel approaches for building Foundation Models using structured data.
• Design and implement scalable algorithms and architectures to efficiently process and analyze large-scale structured datasets.
• Conduct experiments and perform rigorous evaluations to measure model performance and effectiveness.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to enhance accuracy, scalability, and interpretability.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Deep Learning, Foundational Models, and Generative AI.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines. A PhD is a plus.
• Experience with Foundation Models, LLMs, and their application in a business context.
• Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and techniques, especially concerning structured data.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar tools.
• Ideally, professional experience with Machine Learning on structured data, such as in the ERP or CRM domain.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in cross-cultural teams.
