Amazon Robotics enhances a smarter, faster, more uniform customer experience through automation. We automate fulfillment center operations with various robot technology, including self-directed mobile robots, high-level control software, language understanding, power management, computer vision, depth-sensing, machine learning, object recognition, and understanding semantic commands. Amazon Robotics is dedicated to research and development to continually discover new opportunities to expand its product line into new areas.
Amazon Robotics co-op opportunities are based in the Greater Boston Area at our two state-of-the-art facilities in Westborough, MA, and North Reading, MA. Both campuses offer a unique opportunity with direct access to robotics testing labs and manufacturing facilities.
This role is a 6-month co-op from January - June 2024.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Manage one substantial project or several smaller ones, depending on comfort level and project priority at the time of hire.
- Collaborate with all engineering disciplines to deliver project requirements.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and expansion of strategic programs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to improve a program’s offerings and benefits for our customers.
- Devise, identify, develop, and carry out analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and new insights to formulate process improvement recommendations.
- Maintain and develop tools and dashboards to monitor program milestones, track and report capital spending, and maintain the solution design portfolio using Tableau or equivalent.
- Prove success as an independent performer and contributing member of a high-performance team, with the ability to deep dive and develop innovative solutions for process challenges.
- Collaborate with program managers and engineering staff to deliver updates to existing products and new mechanisms, modules, systems, and to report program performance to senior business leaders.

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Project and/or Program Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field at a US university, with a graduation date of December 2024 or later.
- Must be eligible and available for a full-time (40h / week) internship/co-op from January to June 2024.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with or ability to learn Tableau.
- Previous project team experience recommended.
- Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment, to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize workloads even when faced with conflicting priorities.
- Strong decision-making skills with sound logic to communicate ideas.
- Strong technical insight to address customer challenges.
