Basic Job Functions

As an Analyst-AI, you will:

  • Integrate AI capabilities into manufacturing to enhance productivity.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and assess significant business opportunities for AI solutions.
  • Develop and deliver AI and Machine Learning solutions while adhering to high ethical standards.

Education & Experience

Candidates should have one of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering with 2-4 years of experience
  • Master’s degree in the same fields with 1+ year of experience

Required Skills & Competencies

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with generative AI techniques such as GANs and VAEs
  • Knowledge of the latest advancements in generative AI research
  • A strong background in Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms
  • Proficiency in Machine Learning packages like TensorFlow, JAX, Keras, and/or PyTorch
  • Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, Matlab, R, and relational databases like SQL server
  • Ability to integrate AI solutions with software systems
  • Understanding of Software Development and Quality Lifecycles
  • Experience developing test scenarios/plans and documenting test cases
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • An initiative-driven approach to engage with stakeholders and manage multi-faceted projects
  • Results in developing and delivering customer-facing technical collateral
  • Flexibility to participate in global video/conference calls outside normal business hours

Preferred Experience

Additional skills that are a plus:

  • Manufacturing experience
  • Programming experience in C#/.NET
  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments and network architecture
  • Experience with data science and machine learning packages like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, seaborn, and plotly

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Stay abreast of emerging Gen AI technologies and Industry 4.0 techniques
  • Assess manufacturing processes to identify productivity improvement opportunities through AI integration
  • Own data analysis, modeling, data quality, and feature engineering
  • Automate data analysis using Python, R, and Matlab
  • Advise business partners on AI-related technology and policy issues
  • Document and communicate solutions architecture and lessons learned
  • Define and meet AI solutions success criteria
  • Collaborate with MES Software Engineers and business partners on AI solutions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships

This position reports to Manager I- IT in the MES department and does not have direct reports.

Travel

Travel requirements are minimal (0% - 5%) and are on an as-needed basis for training, etc.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $63,900 - $91,000 annually.

Physical requirements include:

  • Sitting, standing, or walking short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift
  • Occasional stair climbing
  • Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 27 pounds occasionally
