About Our Analytics & Data Strategy Team

The Analytics and Data Strategy team at Secretariat are experts in resolving complex data challenges. We design and deliver technical solutions to tackle data aggregation and standardization requirements, analyze large volumes of diverse data sources, create interactive dashboards and visualizations, and apply emerging technologies to enhance our technical skillsets and client solutions. We assist organizations and law firms across industries and geographies in leveraging data strategically to derive actionable insights and mitigate data risks in disputes, investigations, or litigations.

Responsibilities

As an Analytics & Data Strategy Associate, you will work closely with Secretariat professionals to provide meaningful analysis and actionable insights into clients’ data challenges. Using a variety of technical tools and strategic consulting skillsets, you will design and build innovative solutions across high-stakes industries such as financial services and healthcare.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying relationships among disparate datasets
  • Building complex ETL processes
  • Designing and building technical workflows
  • Analyzing and interpreting transactional datasets
  • Performing stringent quality control measures to ensure accuracy
  • Reporting findings to project team members
  • Assisting in the preparation of client-ready deliverables

Additionally, associates will benefit from formal and informal mentorship, involvement in strategic initiatives, contributions to pro bono engagements, participation in team building and social events, and accessibility to all members of the Secretariat team.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, MIS, Mathematics, or a similar analytical discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and commitment to quality
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills coupled with interpersonal awareness
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and technology
  • Willingness to travel
  • Preferred technical skills: SQL, Python, Tableau, MS Office Suite
