The Opportunity

2U is actively seeking a passionate Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence professional to make a meaningful impact. Our diverse student body comprises working professionals and recent graduates aiming to transition into Artificial Intelligence careers. As an instructor, you will significantly influence our students' lives through education and mentorship.

This role is fully remote and part-time.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentorship
• Proficiency in Python, Machine Learning (Unsupervised and Supervised Learning), Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning and Neural Networks, Linear Regression, Transformers, and AI applications
• Laptop, camera, and reliable internet access (additional monitor and microphone/headset recommended)
• Positive attitude
• Capability to deliver office hour session guides provided by 2U
• Willingness to share professional experiences and industry insights
• Empathy, support, encouragement, and ability to add fun to the student experience

Logistics

• 24-week program (part-time commitment)
• M/T/TH or M/W/TH schedule
• Class hours: 5:45pm - 10:00pm (including office hours and breaks)

Compensation

Hourly salary: $43.92/hr - $47.06/hr. Final compensation may consider geographic location and prior work experience.
