We are looking for an Associate-level candidate to join our Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Team. Within GSAM, Shareholder Services operates as a global, sales-aligned service organization that provides high-quality service and solutions to shareholders. We enable the distribution of GSAM investment products and provide consultative services, focusing on financial growth for the business.

The Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Team within Shareholder Services handles data strategy, reporting, and analytics across global operations. Key deliverables include process automation, operational analytics/KPIs, and business reporting.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential

As a member of the Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Team, you will be responsible for a wide range of data analysis and business intelligence solutions, including:

• Improving business and operational processes through codified automation and controls
• Developing and supporting the business intelligence codebase within Shareholder Services
• Owning the subject matter expertise behind the data and systems that underpin operational workflows
• Resolving production issues that impact analytics and reporting deliverables
• Partnering with Technology to enhance our data and reporting capabilities
• Partnering with Shareholder Services business areas to identify and scope BI solutions

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Skills & Experience We’re Looking For

Basic Skills

• 2+ years of business experience, with at least one year in the data science/business intelligence domain
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Tableau or a similar reporting tool platform
• Ability to multitask under pressure, managing multiple critical projects alongside daily production issues
• Ability to explore large datasets and understand/explain how data points directly relate to business processes
• Strong communication skills
• Exhibits sound judgment and integrity

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Git
• Experience with Alteryx or a similar workflow tool platform
