Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Associate Data Scientist to join our innovative team at RTX, located in the heart of Bangalore's tech hub. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge predictive and descriptive models that solve complex business and engineering problems, utilizing the latest technologies in data science and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement state-of-the-art data-driven models for predictive and descriptive analytics.
• Generate valuable insights from statistical modeling to aid our business partners.
• Manage and analyze large datasets to develop impactful data models and business insights.
• Lead the deployment and integration of machine learning and statistical models into business applications.
• Guide the selection and implementation of appropriate machine learning and data analytics methods and tools.
• Collaborate with diverse teams, including app development and policy deployment, to support organizational objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with at least 4 years of relevant experience OR Advanced Degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Familiarity with AWS, Python, R, and AI/ML Model Development.
• Proven ability to work effectively across various departments to achieve common goals.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Capability to adapt and lead in fluctuating market conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with gas turbine engine technology.
• Proficiency in developing analytics dashboards using PowerBI/Qlik.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Governance and Architectural Frameworks.
• Strong acumen for learning new software and technologies.
• Background in Agile project management methodologies.
