Job Opportunity: Associate Director, Commercial Data Management

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual for the role of Lead, Commercial Data Management (Associate Director). Reporting to the Head of Commercial Data Strategy & Management (CDSM), this pivotal role serves as the primary point of contact for data consumers within the Commercial organization and IT. The role is responsible for handling reporting requirements, data mapping, ad-hoc queries, and the integration of new data assets into our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business data requirements into precise technical specifications.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Data Warehouse (CDW) to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Drive strategic development for future CDW functionalities and applications.
• Identify stakeholders’ data needs and evaluate appropriate data sources.
• Manage and execute data integration projects, including new CDW builds.
• Oversee master data management (MDM) sets, including Customer Master, Product Master, and Payer Master.
• Communicate MDM-related issues and changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Create and enforce data policies to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Promote data democratization by enabling access to data for informed decision-making.

• Ability to manage projects from requirements gathering to production release.
• Proficient in influencing stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy aggregation and partners is a plus.
• Adaptability in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
• Extensive experience with third-party pharmaceutical syndicated data such as IQVIA, Symphony, and DRG.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 8-10 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry (6-8 years with a Master's degree).
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Commercial Data Management, Commercial Analytics, or IT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and query tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and data extraction methodologies.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, and Spotfire.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is $150,300 - $187,900. Additionally, our total rewards package includes:

• Merit-based salary increases.

Total compensation will vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
