Big Data Product Owner

The Role

The Product Owner will be in charge of setting the vision and strategy for our reporting solutions, working with cross-functional teams to create, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality reporting products. You will have a vital role in shaping our reporting capabilities and making sure they fulfil the needs of internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and express our reporting products, ensuring they are in line with the company's overall aims and goals.
• Work with stakeholders to collect, prioritise, and refine requirements for new reporting features and improvements.
• Create and maintain a well-organised product backlog, making sure that priorities are clear and the development teams fully understand the expected results.
• Act as the main link between the Reporting Team and other departments to ensure smooth collaboration and information sharing.
• Set up and monitor performance metrics for reporting products, using data and user feedback to encourage continuous development and innovation.
• Confirm that the development process is transparent and all stakeholders are kept informed about the progress, risks, and changes.
• Act as an expert on reporting best practices and tools, staying updated with industry trends and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on data-driven reporting solutions.
• A proven successful history of managing and delivering complex reporting products in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-focused approach to decision-making.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience of working as a product owner in an Agile development environment.
• Knowledge of online sports betting and casino products is an advantage.
• A good understanding of technology, programming languages and software architecture is a plus.
