Position Summary

Role: Business Data Analyst
As a Business Data Analyst at Magna, you play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decisions. You will closely collaborate with various teams, including the materials department, to provide actionable insights and support their operations.

Role Expectations

• Define and deliver essential metrics, reporting platforms, dashboards, and analytical models for tracking business performance.
• Ensure data maintenance and integrity.
• Develop and execute training programs to boost user adoption of new and existing features.
• Identify and resolve problems, enhance service levels, and improve overall efficiency.
• Analyze trends and patterns to provide actionable insights.
• Initiate process improvement projects to tackle business challenges.

Duties

• Create BI reports, analyses, and PowerPoint presentations to maintain various business intelligence aspects.
• Develop data models and analytical tools supporting operational functions within the organization.
• Translate business and information needs into BI/analytics/reporting requirements.
• Provide actionable insights that stakeholders can easily understand.
• Maintain documentation for Business Intelligence solutions and systems.
• Research, analyze, and resolve system or process-related incidents.
• Recommend process improvement opportunities to management.
• Support database maintenance and integrity.
• Guide business users in interacting with visualizations and interpreting results.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficient in Power BI.
