Role Overview: Business Intelligence Analyst
Reporting directly to our Director, Customer Solutions, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support decision-making throughout the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and visualization techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Empower Insights – 50%
- Partner with stakeholders across business units (Operations, Finance, Executive Leadership) to understand and document their data and reporting needs.
- Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Gather and analyze raw data from various sources, using statistical methods and data mining techniques.
- Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborative Agility – 30%
- Work in an Agile setting, collaborating effectively with team members.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address their reporting needs and provide relevant insights.
- Communicate and collaborate with engineering teams and third-party vendors to deliver reports and analytical products.
Documentation and Process Adherence – 20%
- Document reporting processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for continuous improvement.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
This role entails standard office working conditions, with a regular Monday to Friday work week. On-call availability may be required during implementation and burn-in/warranty periods, depending on activity scope.

Experience/Technical Skills/Knowledge
- 1-3+ years of experience as a reporting analyst.
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python; knowledge of dimensional data modeling is a plus.
- Exposure to Snowflake and familiarity with ERP systems is highly valued.
- Understanding of applications like Oracle, Apex, OnBase, and Command is beneficial.
- Experience in the Construction Materials industry is an asset.
Education/Certification/Designation
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Statistics, or similar quantitative disciplines. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
