You will manage the analytics needs and quality assurance organization-wide, cooperating with teams and leadership to define and build self-service analytics and a data driven organization. Additionally, you will help drive a vigorous quality assurance and data accuracy practice, as well as grow the relationship between the Analytics team and the rest of the company, empowering team members to request analytical support as needed. Role and responsibilities - Cooperate with leads across the company to define analytics requirements - Create dashboards for different teams across the company to support crucial business decisions - Establish business metrics (KPIs) and maintain a data dictionary - Collaborate with Business Intelligence Analysts and Engineers to model data in a scalable manner - Organize and prioritize analytics requests from across the organization - Educate end-users on new reports and dashboards Required qualifications and skills - Strong analytical skills with the capability to gather, systematize, analyze, and disseminate substantial amounts of information with attentiveness to detail and precision - Interest in developing data storytelling abilities, and the capacity to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience - Inherent curiosity, skepticism, and analytical follow-through – you habitually question “why?” and enjoy using data and reason to explore potential solutions - Self-motivated attitude, with the ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities with minimal oversight - High proficiency in SQL and prior experience with tools such as: Postgres, BigQuery, and Excel - Experience with calculating and analyzing statistics (e.g., hypothesis testing, regressions, experimentation logic and biases, data normalization techniques) - Experience developing and documenting data models - Team player with excellent collaboration and communication abilities - Experience performing the job duties described above, typically acquired over 1+ years - Experience and fundamental knowledge in databases and ETL processes Desired qualifications and skills - Experience on full time data analysis teams, typically gained over 1+ years - Experience designing self-service analytics - Experience managing a modern BI tool like Apache Superset, Data Studio, Tableau or Good Data - Experience using Salesforce and Zendesk to create reports and dashboards - Experience managing small teams and/or projects - Knowledge of Python Benefits - Competitive compensation - Community-driven culture with employee events - Generous time off - Best-in-class benefits - Fun, modern workspace - Respectful and nurturing work environment, where every opinion is valued and everyone is encouraged to be an active part of the organizational culture Interested? - Ready to apply?
