Business Intelligence Developer/Architect This role is placed within our Global Sales and Marketing team and is a part of the Global Sales Operations Systems group. The fundamental goal of Global Sales operations is to support and encourage best practices in Sales, Marketing, and Operations, encompassing Sales forecasting, Sales trend evaluations, Sales KPIs, Opportunity funnel, Margin administration, Customer Master Data, Capacity management, and Inventory evaluations. This role is performed individually. Your Responsibilities Design and execute a stable, scalable, and high-performance architecture that provides the underlying infrastructure for the software lifecycle from development to deployment. Crucial projects involve the design and implementation of systems for Long Term Plan & Competitor Analysis, a database collection tool for Revenue Forecast (Sales LV and POS LV), a new system to break down sell-through production forecast by part type from the POS LV signal and POS backlog, and the collection of the market Vertical allocation matrix per account. Establish, standardize, and manage a company-wide development operations (DevOps) framework and select suitable tools. This will involve defining the DevOps procedures, setting up the CI/CD pipeline, and ensuring the effective use of these tools and procedures in the aforementioned projects. Design and implement automation strategies for repetitive tasks within the primary projects, hence increasing efficacy and reducing mistakes. Monitor the health and performance of the systems related to the primary projects, fix and resolve intricate production problems, ensuring system availability and reliability. Incorporate the latest security solutions within the architecture of the primary projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, leading them in implementing and adopting DevOps best practices throughout the lifecycle of the identified primary projects. Additionally, you will offer training, manage vendors (for tech support and SLAs), document all procedures, and ensure continuous improvement where needed. Your Profile A Bachelor's / Masters Technical Degree either in computer science, information technology or similar with at least 10 years relevant experience, including software development/architecture for business intelligence within a large international organization. Experience working with a tool chain that uses a scripting programming language as a launcher (VBA; Python; TCL; etc.) Solid experience developing & analyzing SQL-based queries and working with relational databases like Oracle, SAP, etc. Aptitude to develop Tableau or Power BI-based reports and facilitate their active deployment to end-users (understand + translate user requirements, organize training, etc.). Experience in supply-chain, order management, or sales design-in processes & related tools (e.g., SAP, SalesForce.com, Model N). You possess a service-oriented mindset, capable of working independently, managing stakeholders, and maintaining a good work/life balance while working in multiple time zones.
