About the Role

Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business growth? Boston Scientific is looking for a strategic and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to join our dynamic Commercial Excellence team. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy that transforms raw data into actionable insights.

The BI Manager acts as a bridge between raw data and meaningful business intelligence, enhancing our commercial capabilities and fostering a data-informed culture. You will work closely with various departments—including IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Care—as well as local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution of BI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Define BI priorities, roadmap, and success metrics to ensure alignment with business strategy.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver BI projects on time and within scope.

Design and Development of Advanced Analytics and Insights

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports.
  • Utilize advanced analytics to generate actionable insights driving business decisions.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all BI platforms and tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with IT to ensure BI infrastructure supports business needs and integrates with other systems.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Effectiveness Manager to integrate BI tools with Salesforce.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Care teams to meet their BI requirements.
  • Engage with local, regional, and global stakeholders to align BI initiatives with business needs.
  • Leverage regional and global best practices and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other Product Owners to find synergies and maximize organizational benefits.

Agile Project Management

  • Utilize agile project management techniques to implement user requirements.
  • Facilitate regular sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings for continuous improvement.
  • Track and communicate project progress, ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement.

Data-Informed Culture

  • Advocate for the use of BI tools and insights across the organization.
  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights that drive action.
  • Coordinate the development of data literacy and BI proficiency among employees.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where data is used to solve problems and identify opportunities.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BI technology and methodologies.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve BI processes, tools, and techniques.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance BI solutions.
  • Provide Tier 1 user support and manage unresolved issues.

Quality System Requirements

  • Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with Quality Policy and all documented quality processes and procedures, including data privacy and security standards.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus).
  • 5+ years of agile project management or related experience.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics.
  • Proven track record in leading others through change.
