The Head of Enterprise Data Strategy is accountable for collaborating with Equifax’s international business units to formulate, maintain, and put into action the Equifax data strategy, aligning it with the enterprise business strategies and our technology architecture. What you’ll do The Head of Enterprise Data Strategy will report to the Global Enterprise Data Officer and guide global teams through our center of excellence structure. Develop and maintain an understanding of the inherent data needs in our global businesses' strategies: identifying what data we possess, what data we require, how to manage our data to enhance its value and reliability over time, and how to leverage this data for generating value and a competitive edge. Collaborate with global business units to formulate a cohesive enterprise data strategy from the dispersed strategies of our global businesses, paired with enterprise-level objectives such as capitalizing on our cloud-native data fabric, expanding our unique data assets, and hastening the integration of AI/ML into our products. Assist business units in formulating long-term strategic plans for data, particularly opportunities for reuse across various business units and domains. Participate in the evaluation and integration of data from enterprise M&A pursuits to strengthen our company and foster future growth. Oversee ongoing planning and implementation of the data strategy, including our data valuation. Promote the enterprise data strategy and integrate it into our culture - enlightening and assisting all team members and stakeholders to understand the significance of our data, how our businesses benefit from it, and how it assists consumers and businesses to achieve their best financial status. What experience you need Bachelor's degree, preferably in a STEM field of study; advanced degree in STEM or business is preferred. 10+ years of experience using data and/or analytics to deliver business results, including experience working with cloud and big data technologies 10+ years of business experience in strategic planning, product management, consulting, and/or business strategy for data & analytics 10+ years of experience leading teams across locations and units (directly and indirectly) Experience in implementing different ways of working (agile, lean, design thinking, waterfall, etc.) based on the team, objective, and situation Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and managing measures that drive performance Ability to influence through a variety of verbal and written channels, tuning content and messaging to the audience What could set you apart Experience in a financial data services company, or other company whose business is centered on data & analytic content Strength in quickly understanding objectives, both “what” and “why”, and connecting those across different teams and areas to create a compelling and actionable vision Strength in converting thoughts into action, and mobilizing teams to routinely achieve small wins that collectively advance towards larger strategic goals Willingness to work in a non-hierarchical, dynamic, hybrid, and IT-centric environment We offer comprehensive compensation and healthcare packages, 401k matching, paid time off, and growth opportunities within the organization through our online learning platform with guided career tracks.
