Bringing Technology to Life

As a Corva - Drilling Data Analyst, you will manage real-time drilling data, incident management, and data quality assurance. Strive to deliver the highest level of customer service to both internal and external clients and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create wells in the system, manage well entitlements, data extraction, and data entry, while monitoring exploration and production wells.
  • Timely data entry into the web-based system.
  • Identify data quality issues through regular QAQC checks and follow procedures for corrections.
  • Prepare daily written reports on operations and QAQC status.
  • Communicate with customers to resolve issues and build customer dashboards, assisting them in creating their own dashboards.
  • Identify anomalies and problematic data.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geology or Earth Sciences, Science and Technology, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A solid background and knowledge in a broad range of drilling operations, evaluation tools, and services.
  • Basic knowledge of drilling systems data including drill string and BHA configurations, bits, mud motors, casing, fluid checks, and summary data.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to recognize, analyze and solve technical issues, paired with a process-oriented working style.
  • Ability to enter accurate data and prioritize workload, including the identification of anomalies and problem data.

Flexible Working

We understand that everyone has unique working preferences. This is a shift-based role with a 12-hour shift pattern – 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off (Office Base).
