Job Title: Cyber Data Analytics Lead at Peraton

Location: Beltsville, MD (Hybrid - must be local to attend on-site as needed)

Responsibilities: At Peraton, we're on the lookout for a skilled Cyber Data Analytics Lead to join our Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our cybersecurity and technology efforts, ensuring secure and innovative business processes.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and mentor the Cyber Data Analytics team, promoting skill development and efficiency.
• Work closely with the Data Architect to manage cybersecurity datasets, emphasizing data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with department stakeholders on secure data management protocols.
• Enhance data quality, optimization, and processing within the cybersecurity field.
• Influence the adoption and optimization of cloud-based analytic platforms and XDR solutions.
• Develop strategic directions for data management in alignment with overarching cybersecurity objectives.
• Assess and upgrade cybersecurity tools and platforms collaboratively with vendors and third parties.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 14 years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in Cribl, Splunk, Data Bricks, Cyber Analytics, XDR, and Cloud Data Management.
• Required possession or ability to obtain certifications such as CASP+ CE, CISSP, CISM, and others listed.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret security clearance and the capacity to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000, depending on experience and other factors.
