Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer (Infrastructure & Identity Management)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical security efforts for our infrastructure and assets, focusing on Data Protection, Identity Management, and supporting Incident Response and Vulnerability Management.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve our security posture and tooling.
  • Plan, execute, and complete projects with minimal guidance, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery with strong security configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT and Product teams to develop security solutions that enhance productivity while maintaining robust security.
  • Engage in software selection and deployment to onboard security solutions for various environments, documenting findings and conducting Proof of Concepts.
  • Automate security processes and tools integration with APIs and organizational workflows.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards and metrics to monitor Cyber Security posture.
  • Create and manage playbooks, runbooks, and documentation for internal use and with external MDR providers.
  • Support Mail Flow protection, EDR, DLP, CASB, and system compliance initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant experience are a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in Incident Response management and risk assessment.
  • Proficiency with EDR, DLP, CASB, Logging/Alerting tools, and Compliance/Response management.
  • Experience in MacOS, Linux, and Windows Systems Administration using configuration management tools.
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Security Standards (ISO27001, NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Skills in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Go, Java) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience in network protocols, host firewall management, and securing infrastructure.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to balance security needs with mission requirements and collaborate across teams.
