About the Job: Data Analyst

We are searching for a skilled Data Analyst to lead our financial modeling and cash management strategies. This critical role involves enhancing cash flow forecasting, scrutinizing budget variances, and refining our long-term cash projections. You will be instrumental in preparing high-stakes executive and board reports, directly impacting our fiscal strategies.

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from 140-165k CAD, adjustable based on expertise and location within Canada. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health coverage, dental, vision, robust financial and wellness benefits, equity options, and more.

What You’ll Do

• Financial Modeling: Refine and enhance financial models to track critical metrics that influence strategic decisions and operational efficiency.
• Forecasting Technology: Advance our forecasting methods, incorporating sophisticated analyses and integrations that support seamless financial operations.
• Innovation: Utilize advanced skills in SQL, Python, and Tableau to develop cutting-edge solutions for financial planning and analysis.
• Automation & Integration: Lead initiatives to automate financial reporting and enhance system integrations to streamline data processes efficiently.
• Collaboration: Work across functional teams to link financial data with operational systems, driving better data coherence and actionable insights.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 3 years' experience in programming, automation, or IT roles within a dynamic tech environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
• Passion for, and experience with, financial data models and analysis.
• Strong analytical capabilities with a proven track record of identifying trends and patterns.
• Experience with financial systems like Netsuite or Adaptive, is a plus.
