We're currently in search of highly-driven Data Analysts to conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analyses on matters of significance to U.S. national security. These include assessing risk within the Defense Industrial Base, isolating business operation inefficiencies, and quantifying how investments influence performance outcomes and align with strategic objectives. Data analysts will be responsible for conveying data-driven insights to executives in the national security community using data visualization, persuasive written reports, and briefings.

Successful Data Analysts at Govini must have a thorough understanding of how to leverage data to tackle complex client issues, possess a quantitative mentality, and have knowledge of the instruments needed to delve into data. You should grasp defense acquisition processes and the significance of competent and efficient program management.
This position is a full-time role located at our Arlington, VA office.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Use quantitative tools to cleanse, alter, and merge multiple unstructured data streams
- Perform quantitative analysis to establish unbiased and precise views of business operations, generating beneficial insights for clients and recommendations for performance improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop knowledge in Govini’s clients, services, and datasets
- Present data-driven findings orally and visually in a brief and influential manner to internal teams, and government officials
- Demonstrate knowledge in areas such as OSINT analysis, Supply Chain Risk Management, defense acquisitions and program management, government procurement, supplier assurance, federal contracting, and Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE).

Required Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science or related programs
- Exceptional professional demeanor, readiness to work in a fast-paced environment without hesitation
- Proven history of exceptional performance in conducting and presenting high-quality analysis to stakeholders
- Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and projects, learn swiftly, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, or Excel
Desired Skills
- 1-3 years experience doing national security-related analytics; preference for research, quantitative analysis, data manipulation, and data visualization skills
- Current possession of a U.S. security clearance
