Your Role at MediaLab

As a pivotal part of MediLab's Data Team, you will leverage your substantial expertise in the programmatic advertising sector to conduct in-depth analyses and extract valuable insights from our extensive datasets covering all MediaLab properties. Focus areas include core advertising metrics such as ad requests, ad fill rates, viewability, and eCPM. Under the guidance of the Director of Data Management, you will collaborate closely with our Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to enhance business efficiency and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to address complex business queries and draw actionable insights.
  • Utilize advanced SQL and Excel skills to manipulate and interpret data effectively.
  • Become a subject matter expert on MediaLab's advertising technologies.
  • Extract, load, and transform data from diverse sources for comprehensive global business reporting.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to define project priorities and deliver insights that drive decision-making.
  • Employ data-driven insights, quantitative analyses, and A/B testing to influence strategic decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in AdTech, with a deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
  • Proficiency in statistical models and analytical coding using Python or R.
  • Experience in proactive research, visualization, and data insight utilization to drive KPIs.
  • Excellent project management skills with a knack for handling multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and navigate through ambiguous datasets to discover trends and opportunities.
  • A Master's Degree or PhD in a quantitative field would be a significant advantage.
