Job Position: Data Analyst II
Are you ready to join Walmart's dynamic team as a Data Analyst II? You will play a crucial role in understanding the business context and supporting the development of essential business cases and recommendations. Your role will entail driving project activities, supporting process updates and changes, and solving business issues under guidance.
Your role requires knowledge of industry and environmental factors, common business vernacular, and business practices across multiple domains such as product, finance, marketing, sales, technology, business systems, and human resources. You will leverage your in-depth understanding of related practices, business metrics, and areas to support the development of business cases and recommendations.
You'll need a thorough understanding of functional business domains, scenarios, and data categories. Familiarity with database technologies and distributed datastores (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is essential. You will identify suitable data sources, develop initial data models, and maintain awareness of data quality.
Your role involves utilizing analytics, big data analytics, and automation techniques to address business problems. You will demonstrate an understanding of use cases and desired outcomes by applying relevant analytical methodologies.
Expertise in visualization guidelines and best practices for complex data types is crucial. You will generate appropriate graphical representations of data and collaborate with User Experience designers and User Interface engineers to build front-end applications. Additionally, you'll present and influence stakeholders using data visualization frameworks.
Ensuring data quality is a vital component of your role. You'll promote data quality awareness and execute operational procedures to profile, analyze, and assess data quality. Additionally, you'll conduct data cleansing activities and learn about company and regulatory data policies.
Your responsibilities include supporting the application of statistical techniques, data collection, and evaluation. You will explore data using simple tools, execute statistical models, and provide insights into trends, outliers, and correlations.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may also include stock options.
