We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our Gracenote Content operations team. The Content operations team is responsible for managing and enhancing our metadata for client use. This role will assist our organization in leveraging our vast metadata content and provide insights into our data quality. The Data Analyst will serve as an expert in measuring data quality, accessing and merging datasets for use in quality projects, and promoting proactive communication with clients regarding the health of our databases and products. Familiarity with analytical systems, data visualization, and data automation are imperative to succeeding in this role. Experience with AWS cloud services is beneficial. Responsibilities: - Collaborates with the Quality Office and cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of Gracenote data flows and provide insights into our Video, Music, and Sports data quality for our clients. - Uses multiple tools to implement modular code and formulate data queries from multiple databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to perform data analysis, create data visualizations, and respond to clients and internal queries. - Integrates, compiles, validates, and disseminates data from numerous systems to provide feasible and data quality recommendations to stakeholders within the context of their business questions. - Analyses and validates data quality metrics and thresholds and implements quality escapes, reports, and dashboards to monitor and analyze metrics and KPIs for GN Content Document thoroughly all reporting and analysis projects. Requirements: - A BS Degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics. - Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data warehousing, dashboarding, and reporting, with considerable datasets and multiple data sources data analytics experience (ability to analyze and provide insights without in-depth familiarity with dataset). - Experience in creating KPIs and using BI reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.), extensive experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R, Talend) with a track record of precise, efficient code design. - Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English for global collaborations.
