Your New Role:

Join our innovative team at Amey as a Business Data Analyst, based in the Liverpool Matchworks Office. This role provides a flexible Hybrid working model, blending office presence with remote working.

As a Business Data Analyst, you will collaborate with colleagues across Amey Business Services (ABS) to identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvement, designing and delivering innovative solutions while adhering to applicable standards and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, create, and implement solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps/Power Automate), SQL, and SharePoint.
• Identify training needs for delivered solutions and produce end-user documentation.
• Maintain Change Management and Version Control records for solutions.
• Produce regular performance reports.
• Design and implement appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ABS.
• Advocate for fact-based decision making and collaboration.
• Communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders through consultation and collaborative resolution of conflicts.

We Want to Hear From You If You Have:

• Ability to discuss and understand real-world requirements/problems with colleagues and propose non-technical solutions.
• Strong data management and database design skills.
• Ability to identify the right tools to solve business problems and recognize limitations.
• Experience with security and compliance practices.
• Experience in designing user-friendly interfaces.
• Broad knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to produce technical and end-user documentation.

Experience:

• Developing apps and flows using Power Platform.
• In-depth experience with Microsoft Excel and VBA coding.
• Experience working with or on behalf of public sector organizations (advantageous).
• Experience in training or coaching in software use.
• Comprehensive experience with the full Microsoft 365 suite.
