Data Analyst (Payor Denials) at Atrium Health

Job Summary: Atrium Health is seeking a proficient Data Analyst specialized in Payor Denials to enhance our healthcare revenue cycle team. You will be instrumental in managing, analyzing, and reporting administrative and clinical data.

Essential Functions

As a Data Analyst at Atrium Health, you will:

• Collect, mine, and analyze diverse data sources to support initiatives across the organization.
• Maintain and enhance various databases, spreadsheets, and dashboard reports.
• Evaluate, analyze, and coordinate the review of financial and clinical information.
• Manage key data sources and applications crucial for data analysis.
• Develop customized programs and models for data analysis, presentation, and illustration.
• Prepare clear and concise reports for senior leadership.
• Ensure the integrity of project data across all stages including extraction, processing, and manipulation.
• Provide expertise in data analysis, report content, and design.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to sit for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and teamwork are essential.

Education, Experience, and Certifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-2 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, particularly with payor denials
