Collins Aerospace, renowned for its groundbreaking solutions in the aerospace and defence industry, is offering an enriching summer placement opportunity at Prestwick Service Center, our division specialized in aircraft engine nacelles systems maintenance, repair, and overhaul.

About the Role

This role provides a promising student in fields related to digital, analytics, data science, or similar areas, the chance to join our Development Centre from approximately June to September. You'll engage in a resourceful project led by our Digital Transformation Manager, focusing on optimizing business outcomes through advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and internal teams to gather and interpret reporting requirements, transforming them into impactful visual presentations.
• Innovate and contribute ideas that increase the effectiveness and adoption of Power BI and other related tools.
• Ensure design consistency across M365 environments in coordination with IT Operations.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a proactive multitasker with excellent planning and prioritization skills. Capability in analysing and cleansing data, developing meaningful reports and metrics to influence business improvement is key. While exposure to SAP is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Adherence to company policies including EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property, and ITC requirements is crucial.
