Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Meridian Energy, you'll be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights for our Generation business unit. This role involves extensive data analysis using state-of-the-art tools and technologies to support strategic decision-making. You will own the reporting process for Generation's business-related activities through Power BI and lead the advancement of new data solutions. Expect to collaborate with team members across beautiful locations, as this role provides the flexibility to work from either Christchurch or Wellington.

What You'll Bring:

Your background may include a tertiary education or at least 3 years of experience in data visualisation, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in tools like Power BI, R, Python, SQL, and similar platforms will be crucial. Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or other integration tools alongside a proactive approach to learning new systems will be essential. Your ability to design intuitive data solutions and provide technical leadership will help us meet and exceed our strategic objectives.
