As a Data Analytics Associate, you'll play a critical role in managing data flows into our analytics platforms, aiding the BT Business Division's strategic decision-making and operations.
Immerse yourself in a vibrant, creative environment, contributing to the design and construction of our data pipelines and enhancing our new Data Visualization/Science products.
• Work in collaboration with our internal teams, including Data Designers, to understand requirements and transform them into technical implementations.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines, optimizing performance and improving data handling and storage.
• Advise on the selection of the most effective and cost-efficient technologies.
• Enhance code quality, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Extensive experience with analytical warehouse solutions and data warehousing principles.
• Proficiency in managing data workflows and performance enhancements within platforms like Google BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Solid programming skills in Python, with Java or other languages being beneficial.
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL data stores, and modern data technologies.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Big Data technologies, PaaS, and IaaS.
• Knowledge of streaming data tools like Kafka and CI/CD tools such as GITLAB or Jenkins.
• Official Google Data Engineer Certification and experience deploying Terraform scripts are advantageous.
