Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analytics Senior Analyst, you will:

• Gather, extract, and analyze key portfolio and project metrics from Vertiv's data ecosystem, including Oracle, Smartsheet, Hadoop, and Excel.
• Develop dashboards/reports and identify key metric/KPI trends to drive corrective actions for any negative trends.
• Administer Vertiv’s project management software tool (currently Smartsheet).
• Extract necessary data from Smartsheet, SharePoint, Hadoop Data Lake, or Oracle.
• Generate PowerBI metrics and dashboards to analyze project performance, Lines of Business, and the entire portfolio.
• Identify customer needs through communication and probing.
• Create solutions to customer problems and provide sound recommendations.
• Assist customers in handling, servicing, follow-up, communication, and closure of issues.
• Ensure timely workload completion and monitor timely processing of transactions.
• Implement error-proofing methods to ensure accurate transactions.
• Assist in the design and enhancement of the Smartsheet NPDI tool.
• Introduce process improvements to the Global Portfolio and Project Management process and document approved changes in the Vertiv Documentation library.

Job Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

• BS in Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
• Certifications in PowerBI and/or Smartsheet (preferred but not required)
• Expertise in extracting data from various sources including Smartsheet, SharePoint, Excel, Oracle, and Hadoop (Required)
• Expert knowledge of PowerBI or similar data analytics tools (Required)
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (Required)
• Experience with Smartsheet (preferred but not required, willingness to learn is required)
• Experience with Power Automate and PowerApps (preferred but not required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Commitment to deliver quality results on time and a fast learner
• Bonus: Experience with data extraction software development (e.g., PYTHON)
• Ability to quickly understand and utilize new technical and business concepts
• Ability to create and manage new reports based on customer needs and specifications
