Job Description:

As a Data Engineer, you will be tasked with developing, enhancing, and creating SQL and PySpark applications. Your responsibilities will include:

• Enhancing SQL Stored Procedures.
• Designing and proposing robust technical solutions.
• Developing criteria and test cases for unit testing, executing tests, and documenting the results.
• Providing technical support to functional consultants.
• Creating and adhering to technical designs, following stringent processes to ensure the timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
• Understanding and supporting requirements and providing estimates for assigned tasks.

Required Skill Sets:

Candidates should have proficiency in:

• Azure Cloud, Azure ADLS, and MS SQL Server.
• Azure Databricks and MS SQL Management Studio.
• Strong abilities in SQL scripting and experience with ETL interactions in Azure and Databricks/Spark.
• Designing and developing data transformations and database entities using PySpark and Azure SQL tools.
• Experience with Azure: Data Lake Gen 2, Key Vault, and Dev Test Labs.

Methodologies:

Applicants should be familiar with:

• DevOps and Agile methodologies.
• DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Spark/Databricks.
