Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be working under the guidance of the Sr. Director of Enterprise Analytics to enhance our Data as a Service mission. Your tasks will include:

• Designing and developing efficient, resilient automated data pipelines and transformations for our cloud-based Enterprise Data Platform.
• Creating data models and performing ELT using Snowflake SQL within our Snowflake ecosystem.
• Collaborating with data analysts to fulfill organizational data integration needs.
• Implementing and managing data governance best practices across multiple projects.
• Emphasizing automated testing and documentation as part of the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Scala.
• Expertise in Snowflake's advanced features like Streams, Tasks, and Snowpipes.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record in building scalable data pipeline architectures in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Salary and Employment Details

The salary range for the Data Engineer position is between $98,000 and $115,000, influenced by qualifications and experience. This role is primarily remote, allowing for greater flexibility and work-life balance.
