What we are looking for
We are seeking a motivated Data Integration Developer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of Python and a keen interest in learning new technologies. Knowledge and previous experience of .NET technologies is also appreciated. As a part of our dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to introduce innovative ideas, explore new technologies, and contribute to various stages of the project, gaining both technical and customer-facing experience.
Responsibilities
Design and implement sophisticated data pipelines, utilizing Python and possibly C#, to enable seamless data acquisition, transformation, and integration.
Deploy scalable API solutions using Docker, focusing on ensuring efficient data exchange and transformation.
Engage in data discovery, ensuring the understanding and quality of the datasets being processed.
Write well-documented code that meets the specified requirements.
Write code that is testable and easily maintainable in all languages and frameworks.
Collaborate effectively within agile teams, continuously learning, and adapting to industry trends and best practices.
At a later stage, evolve database schemas using ORM tools like EF Core, aligning them with new and existing data needs.
Requirements
Good knowledge of Python, and especially of the libraries Pandas and Numpy.
Basic understanding of SQL database design principles.
Experience or interest in Data Management and ETL (extract, transform, load) design/implementation.
An analytical mind that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English is essential.
Able to work across teams and level common, sustainable solutions.
Will be considered a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of C# and relevant .NET frameworks.
Certifications in relative fields, mainly in Python and .NET.
Familiarity with Git or other Version Control systems
Previous experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with Agile practices.
