About the Role

The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in database and performance optimizations. Collaborating with analytics teams, the selected candidate will analyze, optimize, and revamp both existing and new data processes. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle databases and drive new data warehousing solutions, including partitioning, indexing strategies, query optimizations, and more.

As part of our development team, the Data Engineer will be instrumental in analyzing complex problems, evaluating alternatives, and developing high-quality solutions that position Oracle as an industry leader.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and resolve performance issues in collaboration with Cloud Ops teams.
• Optimize queries, packages, procedures, and functions.
• Directly interact with teams to debug database issues and implement robust solutions.
• Lead initiatives to incorporate the latest database and cloud technologies.
• Address and resolve production customer issues swiftly and proficiently.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Extensive experience in Oracle database troubleshooting and query optimization.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database programming.
• Familiarity with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Golden Data, Data Integration Solutions, and Cloud Services.
• Strong background in Linux, along with collaborative skills for team project success.
