The Opportunity:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled Data Engineer to enhance our Digital Insights (DI) team, known for its bespoke services to our top-tier customers. You'll be reporting directly to the Data Science Team Manager in our dynamic R&D Department.

Why You Are Essential:

As a vital member of our DI team, you will develop and support advanced data model pipelines to analyze vast amounts of data, innovate on product solutions and uphold our AI and machine learning endeavours at the heart of Similarweb.

You will:

• Construct and refine big-data pipelines.
• Play a key role in designing and deploying large-scale systems across diverse technologies.
• Work collaboratively with motivated engineers and data scientists.
• Design and deploy solutions in the AWS cloud environment, utilizing Databricks and PySpark.

Who We're Looking For:

Ideal candidates should:

• Hold a BSc in Computer Science or related field, or possess equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate a passion for building scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
• Possess at least 3 years of experience in server-side software development with languages like Go or Python.
• Have a solid background in building large-scale web APIs and are familiar with Microservices architecture, AWS, and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Be knowledgeable in Big Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, and Airflow.
• Have experience working in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
