We are currently looking for a Mid to Senior level Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fully remote position based in Portugal, engaging with international projects using English as the official language.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.
• Work collaboratively with other teams to plan and execute high impact projects that improve data features and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on data services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Proficient in SQL and well-versed in additional programming languages, preferably Python.
• Extensive experience in database design and data modeling.
• Skilled in DevOps practices including the use of Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experienced with Agile methodologies and workflows.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Azure Servicebus, Airflow, and DBT will be a significant advantage.
• Cloud certification in GCP is preferable.
