About the Role: Data Engineer (Mid | Senior Level)

This position calls for a talented Data Engineer who is proficient in handling complex data challenges and Make a difference on an international scale! This role is 100% remote, allowing you to work from any location within Portugal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize data processes using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient data models and databases.
• Implement best practices in DevOps, including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to the team’s success by embracing and implementing agile methodologies.

Who You Are:

We are on the lookout for someone who exhibits deep technical expertise and a desire to continue learning. Below are the skills we find essential:

• Robust experience in GCP, especially in data-centric services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Advanced knowledge in database design and data modeling.
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices, including Terraform and CI/CD processes.
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies is crucial.
• Cloud certifications in GCP are highly desirable.
• It’s a big plus if you are familiar with Kafka, Azure Servicebus, Airflow, and DBT.
