Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Integrate various data sources into our Data Factory, developing robust data products for analytics and reporting purposes.
• Engage in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and product owners to deliver iterative releases.
• Support data acquisition activities alongside data scientists and software engineers, contributing to the ideation and implementation of data solutions.
• Address global business needs, transforming them into practical and scalable solutions.
• Assume shared responsibility for the maintenance and support of implemented systems.

Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in Data Engineering, with proficiency in GCP.
• Experience in building data engineering pipelines through workflows.
• Knowledge of big data platforms and technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Sqoop, Spark, Kafka, and more.
• Ability to design and implement innovative data pipelines and data management systems.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Experience with Alteryx and data visualization tools, particularly Qlikview.
• A solid foundation in Agile methodologies.
