Job Overview:

MSX International is excited to announce the formation of a new, data-driven startup team aimed at forging pathbreaking digital products for the mobility sector. We seek dynamic individuals with a blend of curiosity, creativity, and determination to innovate and thrive in entrepreneurial roles.

This role involves designing, developing, and managing sophisticated data platforms that enhance our insights into customer behaviors and trends. As a Data Engineer, you will utilize your advanced SQL skills to carry out high-value projects with precision and speed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage well-engineered data solutions by coding, testing, and documenting programs within set standards.
  • Guarantee data integrity and automate processes for data quality checks.
  • Profile data sources and design ETL/ELT processes, considering data modeling principles.
  • Assist in creating project estimates and proposals.
  • Implement data management plans focusing on data security, storage, and shared services.
  • Continuously update and manage process documentation and automate large data processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a similar field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
  • Expertise in Advanced SQL, ANSI SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL.
  • Strong analytical and logical skills, including mathematical and statistical abilities.
  • Highly motivated with a quick-learning capability and excellent reasoning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or similar fast-paced settings.
  • Proficiency in Databricks, Azure Cloud Data Solutions, and data migration from on-premise to cloud.
  • Client-facing experience and familiarity with MS SQL Server or Oracle administration.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
  • Good understanding of Agile development and DevOps principles.
  • Proficiency in Git repositories and strong communication skills.
