Team and Role Overview
You will be plunging into an agile and proficient IT team, cooperating closely in an informal setting split across Lithuania, Denmark, and India. As we expand our team to enhance our API landscape, we require a passionate Data Engineer to join our operations at the Vilnius site.
As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Designing to deployment of effective solutions.
- Uplifting the team by exemplifying outstanding professionalism and work ethics.
- Integrating innovative technologies based on your expertise.
- Ensuring optimal performance and reliability by routine monitoring and maintenance of vendor systems.
- Harmonizing data structures and ensuring system compatibility while coordinating with source systems.
- Enhancing data extraction methods for accurate and efficient data outcomes.
- Executing necessary data transformations to standardize, cleanse, and enrich data for analytical and reporting accuracy.
About You
You should bring:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in the IT sector.
- Proficiency in SQL or other query languages, and a strong grasp of databases.
- Capabilities in complex data transformation and visualization.
- An understanding of one or more programming languages.
- A solution-focused attitude with a robust problem-solving ability.
- The capacity to remain attuned to customer needs constantly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with commendable presentation skills.
- Fluency in English at an upper-intermediate level.
It would be advantageous if you have:
- Experience in Business Intelligence and dashboarding.
- Familiarity with essential Business Information Systems such as ERP or CRM (e.g., SAP, SalesForce).
- Experience with Process Mining.
