In order to help us meet technology challenges, support our strong growth, and our international expansion, EGERIE is recruiting its first ever Data Engineer based in Toulon.

Your future team

The role of EGERIE's One Factory team is to participate in the design and technical development of our software platform.

In the Team Software Factory, you will flourish more precisely alongside the data team, still in the process of being built.

Our Data team is currently composed of a Data Lead and is intended to be structured quickly.

Our technical stack

Our vision: to preserve as much as possible a high level of security, it is necessary to maintain an updated stack.

• Data side: Python (NLP, FastAPI / Infra in Public Cloud)
• DEVOPS Tools: Kubernetes, Docker, Gitlab CI

Your job :

Reporting to Jean, our Data Lead, you will join his team as the first Data Engineer to assist him in structuring this service.

The missions we propose will be to:

• Develop the from scratch and maintain them
• Manage the databases and their structuring
• Implement in production NLP models developed by data scientists

• Manage the Data Lake
• Use our internal and external APIs to feed the Data Lake.

In order to complete your mission, you will work in close collaboration with all of our developers, devops, and systems administrators.

Requirements

You have a higher education in computer science (bachelor's+5 or more) and you're passionate about development and data management. You also have 3 years of experience in a similar position.

You master the use of frameworks for the management and creation of ETL. Mastery of Python is ideal!

Moreover, you're proficient with SQL and no SQL databases (MongoDB, MySQL, MariaDB).

​You ideally have skills on technologies such as Airflow or equivalent and you have had the opportunity to evolve in agile environments.
