Our Data Technology Team
This team is responsible for building abstractions that allow transforming data into information, through an end-to-end solution for anyone in the company to consume this information and use it in business decision-making.
Your Challenge Size
As a Data Engineer, your challenges will be:
- Implementing data pipelines.
- Understanding the problems we want to solve with each technology.
- Carrying out the entire implementation from beginning to end, until its production launch.
- Ensuring good database usage practices.
- Supporting the systems development team to promote better performance and use of databases, facilitate their activities and maintain autonomy.
- Developing ways to monitor performance and automation tools for database management.
We are looking for
- Solid experience working in Data Engineering teams.
- Solid experience in Python language and its ecosystem.
- Advanced knowledge in Spark, mainly using PySpark or SparkSQL.
- Hands-on knowledge consuming data from an HDFS environment (Datalake or Lakehouse scheme) and also using some type of MPP database.
- Experience in the use of relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres.
It's a plus if you have:
- Experience with AWS service stack in general, and particularly with those oriented to Data.
- Experience with Airflow.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Knowledge and experience in Databricks.
- Knowledge and experience in Trino.
- Speak Portuguese, intermediate level.
