Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to expand our team. You will play a pivotal role in developing and managing our data warehouse stack, ensuring data quality, and integrating new data sources. Your efforts will enable us to harness data-driven insights that foster innovation and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL on AWS/Snowflake platforms.
• Ensure data quality and take ownership of data integrity across projects.
• Collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver on data projects.
• Stay adaptive to business changes in a positive, constructive manner.
• Document processes and maintain data pipelines.
• Manage a backlog of improvements and features in Jira.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptional SQL capabilities, including performance tuning across various databases.
• Proficient in Python for data pipeline development, including experience with pandas, API data handling, and more.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in designing and building data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS tools like Glue, Lambda, S3, RDS, and others.
• An understanding of CI/CD principles, including practical knowledge of GitHub.
• Knowledge of various data warehouse architectures, preferably dimensional modelling and data vault 2.0.
