About the Role

Leidos is seeking a Data Engineer, Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of a new data warehouse. This system will aggregate data from diverse sources within the Agency's operational ecosystem and integrate advanced analytics functionalities to transform data into valuable insights for production planning, sourcing patterns, and client engagement. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a new data warehouse, ensuring efficient data aggregation from various sources.
  • Develop scalable ETL processes for optimal data analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies and frameworks to process large datasets and enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate business intelligence tools and analytics models.
  • Ensure data warehouse architecture supports future scalability and changing data analysis needs.
  • Implement robust data governance and security protocols for data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends in data engineering and business intelligence to foster innovation.
  • Develop dynamic, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using front-end technologies like JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON.
  • Manage backend services with technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Solr, and SQL.
  • Utilize Node.js with TypeScript and integrate server-side languages like Java for robust backend services.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you need to have:

  • An active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in software development, technology management, or system engineering. Eight+ years of experience with a Master’s degree.

Compensation

Pay Range: $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

Please note that the Leidos pay range is a general guideline and not a compensation or salary guarantee. Additional factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity will be considered when extending an offer. Relevant market data and applicable laws will also influence the final compensation package.
