Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a passionate Senior Software Developer to enhance our core Analytics team. This role involves designing and writing robust software solutions, playing a crucial part in building data pipelines, and developing tools that produce actionable insights for business and customers.

Scope of the Role

• Position: Individual contributor with no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications or data pipelines.
• Deliver complex features ensuring quality and effectiveness.
• Create and maintain documentation including architecture and system guides.
• Collaborate on defining, scoping, prioritizing, and estimating work efforts.
• Monitor implementations to ensure optimal functioning of software.
• Review code and designs, providing constructive feedback.
• Stay proactive in troubleshooting and solving issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
• Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
• Experience with ETL or ELT best practices, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently on a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with streaming data concepts, such as Kafka.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, SQL, analytical data warehouses, and git source control.
