The Team You'll Join

We are seeking an experienced Data Manager to join our Data Governance team. You will oversee the development and utilization of data systems, ensuring efficient data organization, storage, and analysis with a focus on integrity, quality, security, and confidentiality. You should understand the complexities of data management and governance and have the technical knowledge to liaise with more technical teams for rule implementation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with data engineering teams are essential.

Main Responsibilities

Our goal is to ensure efficient and accurate data flow throughout its life cycle within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Governance in:

• Defining a data quality framework that includes policies and procedures to be followed and implemented.
• Creating, adjusting, and evolving the data governance model in collaboration with all involved areas, applying specificities to each data set and use case.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and standards for effective data management.
• Defining quality rules for data capture and ingestion processes to ensure data suitability, accuracy, and legitimacy.
• Designing and operating efficient and secure processes/protocols for data management and analysis, ensuring safe and responsible data sharing.
• Connecting the dots between different teams responsible for and involved in data management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve criteria that ensure the quality, consistency, and coherence of the information and processes.
• Create and supervise the application of data management policies and protocols.
• Design efficient and secure data handling and analysis procedures, ensuring their correct implementation on the data platform and products.
• Establish rules and procedures for data exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
• Supervise and analyze data performance, identifying areas for improvement through new technologies and updates.
• Analyze the application of AI in data governance.

You Will Excel in This Role If

• You have experience as a Data Quality Manager and in data governance activities.
• You have an excellent understanding of data management and administration functions (collection, analysis, distribution, etc.).
• You are knowledgeable about data frameworks (DAMA, CMMI, or TOGAF).
• You have a technical background in BI and analytics.
• You are passionate about driving frictionless data usage through thoughtful and business-centric governance.
• You are accustomed to working with data in hybrid cloud models (multiple sources in different clouds).
